Maia (Meech) Boakye is a 21 year old artist and illustrator based in Toronto, Canada. They are currently studying at the University of Toronto to receive a Bachelor of Arts in visual studies and architecture. Their work explores life at the margins, often playing with colour and magical realism in their illustrations.
